Blooming flowers, Spring 2004
Nice season has arrived. I have been busy since last year and could not spare lots of time for gardening.
However, so nice to see bulb flowers are blooming fully now. Nice cherry blossoms are beautiful under the blue sky in Tokyo!

To my surprise, many birds come and pick bugs at Euryops hybridu(euryopsdaisy) bush. I enjoy watching the frequet visits of those birds. Really a joy for me.

Flora's small garden in Tokyo
..

White flowers in early spring all perennials
Freesia Chrysanthemum paludosum Chrysanthemum paludosum
Strawberry Very tiny flowers, blooming almost all the year round. I am fond of the flower, but I just do not know the name of it in English. Narcissus, probably it is not a perfect shape. I used rest of the flowers for my arranging.

Kitchen garden plants
Rosemary
The most frequently used herbs for my cooking. I even make facial musks for smoothing and recovering skin.
Rocket salad
Very sharp, bitter taste in winter time. Suddenly blooms when the tempreture rises 15CK
Parsley
Growing so fast. Now is the best season to eat as leaves are very tender. Let's eat it before caterpillers will do!

Useful plants and foliages for flower arranging
Lavender
Scented softly and the shape is very feminin. The flowers will add your flower basket more natural taste.
Acacia
It is a kind of Acasia, which is fully bloomimg now with small, yellow flowers. Dark green busy foliages creates a gorgeous looking.
Eucalyptus
I love this scented, grayish foliage from Australia. I had to prune the tree because of spider mite. It is really a headache as SP destrloyed my beautiful eucalyptus leaves last year.
Now I see small sprout coming out of the trunk of eucalyptus.
¨
I always enjoy the cherry blossoms of my neibourhood.
Have a nice day!
